Biography
Alan holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol (UK), and a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2005. Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak (State of Sarawak) in 2024. Joined Messrs Clement + Co in 2024 and is currently a Partner of the firm. Specialises in dispute resolution, with an emphasis on corporate disputes, shareholder matters, investment-related disputes and high-value commercial litigation. He is also a Senior Partner of Messrs Zain Megat & Murad, Kuala Lumpur and regularly appears in the superior courts as counsel.
